The victims of a petrol tanker explosion in Majia Town, Jigawa State, have been laid to rest in a mass grave.
The incident occurred late on Tuesday night when a petrol tanker lost control and exploded, causing significant damage in the area.
The state Police Spokesperson, Shi’isu Adam, confirmed that the tanker driver was traveling from Kano to Nguru in Yobe State when the accident took place near Khadija University in Majia Town.
Adam stated that the driver lost control of the vehicle around 11:30 pm, leading to a deadly explosion that claimed many lives at the scene.
