Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, has spoken out following his release from police custody.
According to the report, the rapper was arrested recently after Burna Boy filed a complaint over defamatory remarks.
His arrest followed a video where Speed Darlington questioned the legitimacy of Burna Boy’s Grammy win, connecting him to controversial American singer Diddy.
Speaking days after his release from police custody, Speed Darlington shared a video mocking Burna Boy, stating that “it takes 30 million to handle me.”
He said, “EFCC dey give bed, DSS dey give food. I don survive ground zero, what can you do to me next? If I go missing, na you, if you go missing, no be me.”
He captioned the video with: “Big fish; it takes 30 million to carry me.”
