Tinubu Appoints Daniel Bwala Special Adviser

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Daniel Bwala as Special Adviser for Media and Public Communications at the State House.

Additionally, three other Nigerians were appointed as directors-general of different agencies on Thursday.

According to Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the new appointees include Mr. Olawale Olopade as Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Dr. Abisoye Fagade as Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, and Dr. Adebowale Adedokun as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement.

Olopade, the newly appointed Director-General of the National Sports Commission, brings extensive experience as a sports administrator.

He previously served as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State and chaired the Local Organising Committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.

Dr. Abisoye Fagade, the newly appointed Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, is a professional in marketing communications. He is also the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.

Adedokun, the new head of the Bureau of Public Procurement, previously held the position of Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning within the bureau.

Daniel Bwala, appointed as Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media, is a lawyer and well-known public affairs analyst.

The President urged the new appointees to carry out their responsibilities with commitment, patriotism, and excellence.
