A well-known Nigerian actress, Ini Edo, has responded to recent rumors surrounding her possible marriage.
The speculation surfaced in September 2024 when she posted a picture of herself in a traditional Efik bridal attire with a romantic caption on her official page, which quickly went viral.
However, in a recent interview with Premium Times, the actress explained that the post was simply a promotional image for her upcoming four-part series, ‘My Fairytale Wedding,’ and not an engagement announcement.
When questioned about whether she envisioned having a real-life fairytale wedding, Ini Edo revealed that marriage is no longer a priority for her.
“I’m not fixated on marriage; what matters to me is having a strong relationship. It’s not something I’m hoping for or praying about,” she stated.
The report also recalled that the actress was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina. The pair tied the knot in 2008 but divorced in 2014.
