Veteran comedian Ali Baba commented on the case of a man who compelled his wife to resign because she earned more than him, suggesting that instead of pressuring their partners, insecure men should consider leaving their jobs.
Ali Baba questioned the validity of the story and pointed out that such men often tie their self-worth to financial status, feeling inadequate when their partners achieve success.
Speaking in a post on his Instagram page, he said the man should be the one to quit his job rather than asking his wife to resign.

“If you are earning N10 million a month, and your husband earns N1.5 million, how does it make sense to resign? That means the man’s confidence is financially driven and anchored. Insecurities my foot.
