Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised two Arsenal players following their 2-2 Premier League draw on Sunay at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola commended Riccardo Calafiori for scoring an outstanding goal and highlighted Gabriel Magalhães’ strength.
Erling Haaland, Calafiori, Gabriel, and John Stones all scored, resulting in both teams earning a point.
In his post-match interview, Guardiola stated, “A lot unfolded in the last three or four minutes. We showed the passion to fight, just like the past two seasons, against a team determined to take our Premier League title.
Calafiori scored a fantastic goal, and while we should have defended better on the second goal, credit must be given to them. Gabriel is incredibly strong.
They consistently block players at the near post, and since it happens in every game, you have to acknowledge their efforts.”
