Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka matched a record held by club legend Thierry Henry on Saturday by providing an assist in their 1-1 Premier League draw against Brighton.
Mikel Arteta’s team had their perfect start to the Premier League season halted as they were unable to secure a win against Brighton at Emirates Stadium.
Bukayo Saka became the first Arsenal player since Thierry Henry to provide assists in three consecutive league games at the start of a season.
The England international had assisted Kai Havertz in Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Wolves and then set up Thomas Partey in their match against Aston Villa last weekend.
By assisting against Brighton this weekend, Saka matched Henry’s record from the 2004-05 season, as reported by EuroFoot.
