His spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, announced his arrival in a statement on Sunday.
During his time in New York, the Vice President delivered Nigeria’s National Statement at the General Debate.
He also participated in bilateral meetings and various side events held during the General Assembly.
The statement further mentioned, “Vice President Shettima will join President Bola Tinubu in attending events organized to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.”
