The Katsina State government has approved a new minimum wage of ₦70,000 for civil servants, as announced by Governor Dikko Radda during a press briefing on Friday.
The revised wage will take effect starting December 1, 2024.
This decision follows President Bola Tinubu’s approval of ₦70,000 as the new minimum wage for workers. It comes after extensive negotiations involving labor unions, the private sector, and the government.
