Ex-Big Brother Naija star, Francisca Owumi has passed away following a short illness, according to an announcement made by her family on social media on August 29, 2024.
Her photos were shared with the caption, “A daughter and sister. Make her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Francisca was the first runner-up on the very first season of Big Brother Nigeria in 2006.
The late Francisca, known for her energetic dance moves, was in the Big Brother house alongside the show’s winner Katung Aduwak, as well as Gideon Okeke, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Maureen Osuji, and others.
Following the show, she briefly ventured into the Nigerian music industry, releasing the singles “Diva” and “Gbadun You.”
