Nigerian superstar Davido has teamed up with Nicki Minaj for a new track.
In December 2014, Nicki Minaj dropped her third album The Pinkprint, which produced hit singles like “Anaconda” and “Only” featuring Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. On November 22, 2024, the rapper released a 10th-anniversary edition of the album, including four new tracks with various global stars, including Davido.
Davido is featured on track 2, “If It’s Okay,” alongside French DJ and music producer David Guetta.
This collaboration marks the second time the Nigerian Grammy nominee has worked with Nicki Minaj, following her appearance on his song “Holy Ground” from his third album A Better Time.
Nicki Minaj took to her X account to thank Davido for featuring on the track. Her post naturally sparked reactions from Nigerians, who have been captivated by the rapper, especially since she has often posted in pidgin English on the platform.

Other new songs on Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint 10th Anniversary Edition include “Turn Yo Cap Back” featuring Swae Lee, “Arctic Tundra” with the late rapper Juice WRLD, and “Remember Me” featuring Parker Ighile.
Since the album’s release a decade ago, Nicki Minaj has solidified her place as one of the world’s most iconic artists, widely recognized as one of the greatest female rappers of all time.
