Maverick singer Seun Kuti has shared his frustration over not being invited to Afrobeats superstar Davido’s wedding.
According to the report Davido’s extravagant wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024, was attended by dignitaries from various backgrounds.
In a recent appearance on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ podcast, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Kuti revealed that he couldn’t sleep for a week after being left out of Davido’s wedding guest list.
Seun Kuti expressed his disappointment, explaining that it hurt because Davido and his crew used to drink for free at his family’s bar.
He said, “Davido would come to the African Shrine with a group of 100 people, and they would drink without paying. But when it came time for his wedding, I didn’t receive an invitation. I was hurt and couldn’t sleep for a week.
