In a statement posted on X shortly after the event, the Governor explained that once completed, the arena will serve as a venue for various events, including concerts, national conferences, symposiums, and other large gatherings.

He also said that the arena will draw more visitors to the state, providing them with an opportunity to experience the region’s rich culture and offerings, which in turn will generate employment opportunities for the youth.
