Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres Tour’ has made history as the first rock tour to gross over $1 billion.
It has now surpassed Sir Elton John’s five-year farewell tour, making it the highest-grossing rock tour ever.
Additionally, it is the first music tour to officially report a global gross of over $1 billion, as confirmed by Billboard.
According to report, Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour was the first music tour to surpass $1 billion in revenue last year.
However, Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres Tour’ is the first to officially report a global gross surpassing $1 billion.
Nigerian artists Ayra Starr and Burna Boy joined the tour as special guests at the Italy and Dublin stops, respectively.
