Cardi B, the American rapper known for “Bodak Yellow,” has filed for divorce from her husband Offset after seven years of marriage.
She is seeking primary custody of their five-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave.
This isn’t the first time Cardi B has initiated divorce proceedings against Offset since their 2017 wedding.
Cardi B previously filed for divorce in September 2020, clarifying to fans that it wasn’t due to infidelity, despite persistent rumors about Offset’s alleged unfaithfulness.
Nevertheless, the couple eventually reconciled and withdrew the divorce filing. Despite their attempts to resolve their issues, the distance between them continued to grow, leading to this present separation.
