Atalanta have offered Ademola Lookman a new contract to extend his stay at the Gewiss Stadium until at least 2027.

As reported by Bergamo & Sports’ Luciano Rota, La Dea aims to increase Lookman’s salary to fend off interest from top European clubs.

The current UEFA Europa League champions are proposing a salary of €3.5 million per year.

The 27-year-old is said to have reached an agreement on personal terms with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

However, Atalanta prevented the transfer from going through. Lookman is anticipated to attract interest from top European clubs again next summer after his strong performance in the 2024/25 season.

The Nigerian secured 14th place in the 2024 Ballon d’Or and is a leading contender for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award. Lookman, who moved to Atalanta from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in 2022, has two years left on his current contract.
