On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu requested the Senate to confirm seven new ministerial nominees.
The request was outlined in a letter from the executive, which was read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a session in the upper legislative chamber.
It is worth noting that on Wednesday, President Tinubu dismissed at least five ministers and dissolved two ministries.
The president appointed new portfolios to several ministers during the cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday.
