In Lagos, Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Soboma and Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
The medical professional was discovered lifelesoutside the gate of their Parkview, Lagos residence on Wednesday, July 31.
Sources revealed to reporter that newly hired domestic staff, who had been with the family for less than a month, are suspected of staging the scene to make it look as if Aribemchukwu was outside of the house at the time the incident happened.
Evidence indicates an attempt to clean up blood both inside the house and within the compound, suggesting a different story.
Meanwhile, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Benjamin Hundeyin revealed that three domestic staff members have been taken into custody in relation to the death.
Three domestic staff members have been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, which is now handling the case. Hundeyin revealed that Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Offili-Ajumogobia, was discovered dead this morning around 6:45 am at the entrance of her parents’ home on Bembe Street in Parkview Estate, Lagos.
He added that the arrest of the three suspects started in line with a directive from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade to carry out a thorough investigation the death.
