Following Sunday’s killings in Nibo, where about 14 people were killed, Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, visited the community in Awka South Local Government Area.
During his visit on Monday morning, Soludo expressed condolences to the families and the community for the tragic loss of lives in what is suspected to be cult-related violence.
He vowed to track down those responsible for the brutal act and promised to combat cultism in the state.
The governor urged residents to continue their lawful activities, assuring them that the perpetrators would be found and punished, no matter where they try to hide.
He also reassured the community of their safety and overall well-being.
