Afrobeats artist Ayra Starr has denounced the tragic killing of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
According to the report, Christianah was allegedly murdered by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, who is suspected to be a serial killer.
In a post on her official X account, Ayra Starr expressed her outrage over the incident and demanded swift justice for the victim.
The singer stressed the importance of tackling violence against women, insisting that they deserve better protection and respect.
She stated, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah.”
Ayra Starr’s plea comes after an ongoing investigation revealed that Adeleye, a close friend of Christianah, kidnapped, murdered, and buried her on his property.
It was also discovered that Adeleye had been previously connected to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and sister in separate incidents in 2018 and 2020.
