Senate starts Screening of Ministerial nominees

The Nigerian Senate has begun the screening process for ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu to the upper legislative chamber.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the screening was postponed to Wednesday to allow for better preparation.

The Senate officially started the screening at 1:10 PM on Wednesday.

All seven nominees are included in the Order Paper for screening, with Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda from Plateau State listed first.

The other nominees are Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad.
