Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has called on Osun indigenes living in Ondo State to vote in large numbers for Agboola Ajayi, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, in the upcoming governorship election.
During a meeting with Osun indigenes in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, Adeleke urged them that the best way to show their support for him was by backing Ajayi at the polls.
Adeleke stressed the importance of voting out the All Progressives Congress-led administration in order to enable real development in the state.
He pointed out that the hardships Nigerians are currently facing should serve as a valuable lesson to avoid similar situations in the future.
The Osun governor encouraged the indigenes of Ondo State to vote for Ajayi, so they can be part of the group of states in the southwest region experiencing remarkable progress.
He said, “I urge you to go out and spread the message that Ondo will see a new dawn, that light is coming to the state, and the sun will shine once more.
“Tell everyone that I am fully supporting Ajayi to secure his victory; go door-to-door in your campaign. We must work diligently to ensure success.”
