A Well-known Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and musician Mr Eazi have turned to social media to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th anniversary.

They celebrated the country’s independence on Tuesday, October 1st, sharing uplifting messages despite the ongoing economic challenges.

In an Instagram post, Funke Akindele expressed, “I pray for our country to prosper, and I truly believe it will.

This is where I earn my living and am known as ‘gbogbo bigs girl.’ It’s here that I make the money to buy designer bags and clothes and empower many people. Personally, I have no plans to leave; I will stay in Nigeria because I believe it will improve.”
