Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo.
The announcement, made on Friday, came after thorough consultations and divinations by the Oyomesi, who recommended Owoade for the position.
Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, confirmed the governor’s approval of the appointment.
