President Bola Tinubu has pledged to hold “bad” Nigerians accountable under the full extent of the law.
Tinubu cautioned that wrongdoers, both within and beyond Nigeria, would face justice.
The President, represented by National Security Advisor Nuhu Ribadu, delivered this message on Saturday during the graduation ceremony for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja.
He reiterated his administration’s dedication to maintaining security and stability across the nation.
“If you are a bad actor, whether within or outside Nigeria, you are in trouble. We will pursue you and bring you to justice,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of the DSS, Adeọla Ajayi, emphasized that Nigeria would overcome its security challenges if all security agencies collaborated effectively.
Ajayi remarked, “Unity is key to success. The CDS and NSA have fostered a level of synergy unlike anything I have witnessed in my career. Collaboration is essential.
“Our key lesson here is that no security challenge is insurmountable if we join forces.
“Very soon, every Nigerian will be able to sleep peacefully. We must thank the President for the direction in which he is leading the country.”
Thank you for appointing me. I promise not to disappoint you.”
