The British politician, renowned for her candidness, had previously referred to Nigeria as a “socialist nation filled with corrupt politicians and plagued by insecurity.”

“Kemi isn’t focused on promoting Nigeria’s image; she’s the UK’s opposition leader. She speaks the truth plainly and unapologetically. She stands firm on her statements,” her spokesperson stated.
Born Olukemi Adegoke, Badenoch has frequently referenced her Nigerian roots while addressing the country’s systemic issues.
