Chikwado Eze was tragically buried alive as part of a ritual for fortification, which ultimately led to his death.
A report has it that Chikwado’s visa came out, and he decided to travel to his village Ugbaike, in Igbo-Eze North LGA of Enugu State, to inform his father. When he got home, his father suggested visiting a native doctor for fortification to ensure Chikwado’s success abroad.
Upon reaching Onuwa, the native doctor instructed that Chikwado be buried alive for an hour and a half, after which he would be exhumed. However, when they dug him up after he was buried, he was already dead.
As a result of the incident, the police arrived and arrested his father, Uwakwe, along with the native doctor.”
