Comedian Dee One has criticized well-known social media critic, VeryDarkMan, for accepting N100 million from Don Jazzy.
According to the report, VeryDarkMan revealed on Thursday that Don Jazzy had contributed N100 million to his newly established NGO.
In response, Dee One posted a video on Instagram, accusing VeryDarkMan of “hypocrisy” for accepting the donation, pointing out that VeryDarkMan had previously criticized Don Jazzy for giving money to Bobrisky while he was in prison.
Dee One questioned VeryDarkMan’s integrity, pointing out his shift in attitude after receiving the N100 million.
“You said you were disappointed in Don Jazzy, but now you’ve taken money from the same Don Jazzy. This shows Don Jazzy is a good person, as he doesn’t judge whether the recipient is good or bad.”
“When Don Jazzy gave money to Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan publicly expressed disappointment in Don Jazzy for supporting him.”
Don Jazzy is quite petty. He didn’t respond at the time, likely thinking it was just poverty talking. But when VeryDarkMan needed funds for his NGO, Don Jazzy gave him N100 million.
“VeryDarkMan had to make the announcement himself. This serves as an important lesson for everyone, including myself, that it’s not necessary to comment on everything. The same money you criticized for being given to Bobrisky is now acceptable when it’s given to you. You don’t have to speak on every issue.”
