Afrobeats artist Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has disclosed that Grammy-winning artist Wizkid is a significant source of motivation for him.
He revealed this while enjoying his recent collaboration with Wizkid on his new third studio album, ‘Lungu Boy.’
In addition to discussing their joint track ‘MMS’ from the album, Asake revealed that he has been eager to collaborate with Wizkid.
He wrote, “Everyone knows that Wizkid has been a major inspiration for my music. As a young artist in Lagos, I’ve been searching for the perfect song, so when the chance came, it was an obvious choice.
“MMS stands for ‘Mr Money Sound,’ which details my music journey.”
