Nigerian singer Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has replied to allegations from his colleague Flavour that he is imitating his style.

According to report, Flavour recently threw shade online at someone for allegedly copying his music style.

Although Flavour didn’t name anyone, Kcee picked up on the shade and responded appropriately.

Kcee asserted that Flavour was not on his level and advised him to be cautious in choosing his battles.

He cautioned Flavour against attempting to control Igbo cultural music, adding that he entered the music industry before Flavour.

On his X account, Kcee wrote, “Bro, we are not on the same level. Choose your battles carefully.”

Stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture. You’re not a Custodian.

“I’ve been in this game before you

“It belongs to everyone

“You are not the owner of this genre of music.

“My music celebrates our heritage, and I won’t apologize.
