Social media critic VeryDarkMan has accused Ubi Franklin, the manager of singer Davido’s wife, Chioma, of involvement in a scam.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan alleged that Franklin failed to fulfill a business agreement with a man, using Chioma’s name in the process.
According to the critic, the talent manager received ₦10 million from the man in June 2024.
While sharing audio recordings of Franklin’s conversations with the man, VeryDarkMan issued a 72-hour ultimatum for Franklin to refund the money.
He also claimed to have previously reported Franklin’s alleged use of Davido’s name to defraud others.
Addressing the issue, he wrote:“@Davido I cannot understand how Ubi Franklin, a manager under 30bg is out here $c@mm!ng people. I have reported him to you before, anyways Ubi Franklin you have till Tuesday to pay up”
