Tems is the first African artist to receive a nomination in the RnB category with her single “Burning.”
She also marks a milestone as the first African female lead artist to earn a nomination outside the global categories.
She continues to break records as the Nigerian female artist with the most Grammy nominations, now totaling six.
Her three nominations for the 67th Grammys also make her the second Nigerian with the most nominations in a single Grammy year, following Burna Boy’s record-setting four nominations at the 66th Grammys.
