Renowned Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has exposed a scammer named Prosper for impersonating her to request money.
She posted a screenshot showing the scammer using her name and photo to trick unsuspecting individuals into sending money.
In one of the shared WhatsApp conversations, the scammer requested a loan of N200,000 from a victim, with a promise to repay it the next day.
While alerting her fans to be wary of such scams, Funke stated, “Please be careful! This is not from me!! Prosper!!! E no go prosper for you o!!! Ole!!!”
She also urged the public to steer clear of these fraudulent schemes.
