Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, well-known as Portable, has obtained a 10-year work visa for Canada.
He announced this in a trending video on his Instagram account on Friday, proudly displaying the visa and sharing that he is now able to perform at shows internationally.
Expressing his excitement about leaving Nigeria for Canada, the singer said, “Alhamdulilahi CEO DR ZEHNATION! I’m going to Canada with a 10-year work permit.”
Reporter notes that Portable previously mentioned in a 2022 interview on Echo Room that he was denied a US visa five times due to his demeanor during the application process.
