Chioma, the sister of a well-known Nigerian Afrobeats artist Patoranking, has reportedly died in an explosion at her home.
According to reports, Chioma died instantly, while her husband, George passed away to his injuries on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Media personality Cutie Juls shared this information in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Cutie Juls shared a video of the deceased’s home after the tragic explosion, revealing that the incident happened shortly after a housewarming and their child’s birthday celebration.
She stated, “Remember when I mentioned last week that Patoranking’s sister died in a gas explosion at their home, and her husband and child were fighting for their lives in the hospital?
Unfortunately, the husband has also passed away. Despite Patoranking’s efforts, including purchasing large amounts of blood to save his brother-in-law, he couldn’t survive. Now, their child is left orphaned.”
“Recall, he was very close to his sister. Please, his friends should check up on him,” Cutie Juls added.
At the time of this report, neither Patoranking nor his manager has made any public statement regarding the incident.
