Princess Chineke, a Nollywood actress, has officially joined the U.S. Army.
The former beauty queen, who once represented her state in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, has exchanged her crown for a military uniform, marking an unexpected career change.
According to The Nation, she is the first Nollywood actress to enlist in the U.S Army.
Princess Chineke, who previously modeled for various television commercials, billboards, and runway shows, has surprised many fans with her decision to join the U.S. Army.
Known for her compelling on-screen performances, she has starred in numerous productions, including Battleground, Forever in Me, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, Papa Ajasco, Tales of Eve, Ada Mbano, To Love a Sister, Amaonyebuoneye, Give It Up, Masters at War, 2Broken, Airline Bases, Mmeso, Royal Maid, Professor Johnbull, and the Ay Show Skit, among others.
The actress, who is also a former Miss UNIBEN, has shared her deep passion for serving her adopted country.
“I admire the prestige associated with the American military,” Princess Chineke stated. “As a citizen of this incredible nation that has given me so much, I believe it’s my duty to give back. God bless America.”
