Widely known Nigerian singer and former BBNaija winner, Laycon, has called out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalties related to their collaboration.
On Wednesday, Laycon posted on his X account, alleging that DJ Neptune has not compensated him for their joint track “Nobody (Icons remix).”
The reality star criticized Neptune for remaining silent for four years and emphasized the importance of artists honoring agreements in the music industry.
He wrote, “Please, DJ Neptune, what’s happening with my agreement and split for the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’ song? Is it not ready yet? It’s been four years!”
DJ Neptune has not yet responded to Laycon’s claims.
Report notes that the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix),’ which also featured Joeboy, was included to the BBNaija winner’s fans, known as Icons, in October 2020.
