Nigerian artist Daniel Anidugbe, widely known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed plans to take a sabbatical following the release of his next EP.
The singer stated that he would not release any new music until 2026 after his upcoming EP, Uncle K, drops on November 29, 2024.
“After this, I no dey do anything again until 2026,” he wrote on his X account on Friday.
After the announcement, fans have been urging Kizz Daniel not to go on a sabbatical, expressing how much they would miss his music.
Since his breakthrough in 2016 with the hit track Woju, Kizz Daniel has cemented his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most consistent artists.
He has released five studio albums and numerous hit singles since rising to fame.
