Afrobeat star Burna Boy recently revealed on his Instagram story that he now has more wealth than many Nigerian politicians and oil magnates he once admired.
He shared this to encourage his followers not to underestimate younger people.
Reflecting on his journey, he noted, “Growing up, it was mainly oil men and politicians who were making serious money, followed by the ‘G boys.’ Music wasn’t even considered when it came to discussions about wealth.”
Burna Boy shared that he’s now a successful Black musician from Port Harcourt with more wealth than 90% of the people he once saw as wealthy role models.
He urged his followers not to underestimate anyone, as they could be the next Elon Musk.
