In a viral video addressing his congregation, Odumeje stated that growing up on a tough street led him into criminal activities.
He attributed his transformation to his mother, who introduced him to the path of salvation and led him to Christ. Odumeje shared, “I was born in Onitsha city, at No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up on a perilous street.
I became an armed robber at 14 and turned into a terrorist. It was only when Jesus Christ intervened, with my mother’s help, that I was able to change my life. A destroyer became a savior.”
