American singer Lady Gaga revealed that she once believed she would be “alone forever” because of her fame.
The 38-year-old, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend Michael Polansky, expressed relief at no longer being single.
“I honestly thought I’d have to go through life on my own—forever. It was a frightening thought because it’s such a big life, and I don’t think anyone can truly understand it unless they’re living it. But now, I don’t have to face it alone anymore,” Gaga shared in an interview with Vogue.
She described her fiancé as a “completely supportive and loving person” who wanted to know her beyond her fame.
‘I had been dedicated to my career since I was a teenager. The blessing of that time was that I could fully concentrate on my relationship. I met this incredibly supportive and loving person who wanted to know me beyond the persona of Lady Gaga,” she shared.
Lady Gaga also disclosed that her mother was the one who introduced her to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
