Popular rapper Nicki Minaj has shared her admiration for Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
During a recent StationHead stream, the ‘Queen of Rap’ expressed her “deep love and respect” for Wizkid.
Minaj praised the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer, describing him as “cool, laid-back, and intelligent.”
She stated, “Wizkid is a really cool, chill guy. He’s truly that guy—very smart. I have a lot of love and respect for him.”
She also mentioned that they met while she was working on her 2018 album, Queen, in a studio in Queens, New York.
Despite ongoing rumors about a collaboration between Wizkid and Nicki Minaj, they haven’t released any songs together or confirmed having an unreleased track.
