American celebrity couple, singer Halle Bailey and rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., also known as DDG, have officially ended their relationship.
The rapper made the announcement on Thursday, October 3, through his Instagram account, stating that the breakup was a mutual decision.
“Dear friends and supporters, after much thought and heartfelt discussions, Halle and I have chosen to part ways,” DDG shared on his Instagram stories.
He clarified that although they are no longer together, their bond is still strong, highlighting their commitment to co-parenting and supporting each other in their individual endeavors.
“Even with the changes in our relationship, our love for one another remains genuine and profound. We are still best friends and have great affection for each other,” he stated, adding that their focus will now be on their “individual paths and roles as co-parents.”
The couple, who began dating in January 2022, welcomed their son, Halo, in late 2023.
