Maverick entertainer Charles Oputa, widely known as Charly Boy, believes that the only solution to bad governance in Nigeria is a revolution. He described the nationwide protests from August 1 to 10 as just a ‘rehearsal’ for the real event.

The well-known entertainer and activist predicted that when the revolution eventually happens, it will be unannounced and will not be televised.

Charly Boy’s message on his official X handle warns that if the Nigerian government neglects the youths’ demands, a revolution could ensue, potentially resulting in destructive and violent consequences.

He stated, “It will only take a revolution to find a solution to bad leadership.” He also added that he sees August 1st to 10th as a mere rehearsal for the main event.

The main event will happen without prior notice. “It will be more chaotic than we could ever imagine. The revolution won’t be shown on television, and it will leave behind destruction and bloodshed.”

“Hopefully, it will lead to the outcome that brings the solution.”
