Nigerian rapper and fashion entrepreneur Zlatan Ibile has criticized some of his colleagues for shaming others who wear fake designer brands.
Zlatan Ibile stated that it is unfair for fashion entrepreneurs to openly criticize individuals for wearing fake items simply because they cannot afford the originals.
In a viral video, he remarked, “Let People wey dey buy fake, make dem dey buy am until dey get money to buy original. Person wey wear fake today, go wear original tomorrow.”
This comes after fashion entrepreneur Rahman Jago recently criticized veteran singer Oritse Femi for sporting fake luxury fashion.
Some months ago, Ashluxe founder Olayinka Ashogbon criticized singer Lyta for wearing counterfeit versions of his clothing brand.
