Nigerian music stars Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have earned nominations for the 2025 NAACP Awards.
Additionally, Nigerian actress Ayo Edebiri is among the honorees at this year’s ceremony.
The 56th NAACP Awards will take place on February 22 at the Pasadena Civic Center in California.
Wizkid received two nominations for his song Piece of My Heart featuring Brent Faiyaz, including Outstanding Duo or Collaboration and Outstanding International Song.
Burna Boy and Usher were recognized in the Best Collaboration category for their track Coming Home. Meanwhile, Tems earned a nomination in the Outstanding International Song category for her hit Love Me JeJe.
Actress Ayo Edebiri received nominations in five categories, including Outstanding Voiceover and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.
