Timaya reminisced about a time when Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning artist, told Omawumi and Waje to leave the studio for doubting him.
He recalled that, years ago, while they were in the studio, Burna Boy confidently stated he would eventually be paid to fly on a private jet.
However, Omawumi and Waje questioned his statement, which upset him.
In a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Timaya shared, “Nothing Burna Boy is doing today surprises me. He’s fearless. There was a time when Burna Boy, Omawumi, and Waje were in the studio, and he said that someday he’d be paid to fly on a private jet. Omawumi and Waje doubted him, as Nigerian artists hadn’t started flying private jets at the time. He got upset, opened the studio door, and told them to leave.”
