Burna Boy Named Most Biggest Nigerian Artist of all Time on Apple Music

Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has been recognized as the biggest Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music.

To commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, the streaming platform recently released a list of the top 10 most streamed Nigerian artists and songs in its history.

Burna Boy led the list, with Wizkid, Davido, Rema, and Asake following closely behind.

The top 10 is rounded out by Tems, Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, BNXN, and Olamide.

Rema’s remix of ‘Calm Down’ featuring Selena Gomez claimed the title of the most streamed Nigerian song of all time on Apple Music, followed by Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ and Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ featuring Tems.

The platform also honored Nigeria’s diversity by highlighting nine Afrobeats stars from different regions: 2Baba (Jos), Omah Lay (Port Harcourt), Odumodublvck (Abuja), Shallipopi (Benin City), Seyi Vibez (Lagos), Jeriq (Enugu), Bloody Civilian (Abuja), and Qing Madi (Benin City).
