Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has overtaken his fellow countryman Burna Boy as the artist with the highest number of entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
This week, Asake made his debut with nine songs from his new album ‘Lungu Boy,’ bringing his total entries to 50.
His track “Active,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, is currently leading the chart.
The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart was introduced in April 2022 and has been predominantly influenced by Nigerian artists since its inception.
