Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has called on African governments to prohibit Kemi Badenoch, leader of the UK Conservative Party, from visiting the continent due to her comments about Nigeria.
According to the reporter, Badenoch has defended her stance on Nigeria despite criticism from Vice President Kashim Shettima and others who accuse her of disrespecting the country.
Meanwhile, Badenoch reportedly described her childhood in Nigeria as marked by fear and insecurity in a nation riddled with corruption.
In response, during a recent Instagram live session, Seun Kuti demanded that the UK Conservative Party leader be barred from entering Africa.
He stated, “Many people have been praising this woman, Kemi Badenoch, despite her insults towards us and our ancestors.
According to her, she suggested that we should compensate Europeans for colonialism.”
